Our mission

A force of clarity
in the age of noise.

We built Podlens because long-form audio deserves the same rigour we apply to written journalism. Podcasters reach millions, shape opinions, and influence how people understand the world — and they deserve better feedback than a comment section. We’re building the intelligence layer that holds that conversation to a higher standard.

01
Accountability without sides
We apply the same analytical standards to every show regardless of political lean, platform, or audience size. Our job is to report what the transcript says — not to tell you what to think.
02
Intelligence, not judgment
Every finding is grounded in evidence — specific words, framing choices, and structural patterns from the episode itself. We surface what’s there. You draw your own conclusions.
03
Better podcasters
When creators know their framing is being analysed, they fact-check more, diversify their sources, and think harder about the language they use. We believe that makes the whole medium better.
“We are not arbiters of truth. We are providers of context — transparent, consistent, and built for an era where mass information demands critical thinking as a survival skill.”
Radical transparency
Every score is explained. Every flag is tied to a timestamp. We publish our methodology and welcome scrutiny from anyone who disagrees with a result.
Informed listening
We give listeners the context they need before they press play — so engagement with any podcast becomes active and critical, not passive and unquestioning.
Consistency across the spectrum
The same methodology that flags left-leaning framing flags right-leaning framing. Political symmetry is not optional — it is the entire foundation of our credibility.
Long-term thinking
Every episode analyzed contributes to a growing community dataset. The more data, the sharper the intelligence — for every listener, and for the platform as a whole.

Podlens is not anti-podcast. We are pro-listener. We believe the best podcasters will welcome this scrutiny — because it gives their audiences reason to trust them more deeply. A podcaster who fact-checks because they know their work will be analyzed is a better podcaster. A listener who comes to an episode already understanding its framing is a more empowered one.

In an era of extreme accessibility and mass information, clarity is the rarest and most valuable thing we can offer. That is what we are here to build.
