What is Podlens?
Podlens is the world's first podcast bias intelligence platform. We use AI to analyze podcasts for political lean, credibility, narrative framing, and rhetorical techniques — so you can understand how to trust content, not just consume it.
How does the bias analysis work?
We transcribe podcast episodes using AssemblyAI, then run the transcript through Claude AI to evaluate political lean, factual claims, rhetorical techniques, source quality, and narrative framing. Each episode gets a detailed bias report with scores and evidence.
Is Podlens free to use?
Yes! The free plan includes 4 analyses per month. For more analyses and advanced features like pre-analysis tracking and smart queue, check out our Starter Lens ($7/mo), Pro Lens ($19/mo), and Operator Lens ($49/mo) plans.
What podcasts can I analyze?
You can analyze any podcast episode that has a public RSS feed or is available on YouTube. Just paste the episode URL or search by show name in the Analyze view.
How long does an analysis take?
Most analyses complete within 3-5 minutes depending on episode length. You'll get a notification when your analysis is ready.
What is the Intelligence system?
Your Intelligence dashboard tracks your listening patterns and analyzed content to build a personal bias fingerprint, echo chamber score, and recommended lean — helping you understand and diversify your media diet over time.
